S.C. Pannell Basso Garnacha is a lighter style warm climate Grenache, sourced from dry grown McLaren Vale vineyards.

The name Basso derives from the Latin Bassus, meaning 'low'; it refers to the low intervention winemaking practices that allow the wine to speak clearly of its site.

The wine is mostly free run juice with only minimal pressings included in the blend. It sees malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation in large French oak vats. It is racked and bottled without filtration.

Bright red in colour, S.C Pannell Basso Garnacha is a medium bodied wine with fresh, juice red fruit flavours, sandy tannins and a long finish. Drink in its youth.
